Zhejiang Golden Bulls secured their third straight win by beating Guangzhou Loong Lions 119-107 in the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) here on Wednesday.
Sylven Landesberg led Zhejiang with 38 points, and Zhu Xuhang added 23, while Marcus Georges-Hunt scored a team-high 34 points and Chen Yinjun made 25 for Guangzhou who conceded to their nine-game losing streak.
After Zhejiang stormed to an 8-0 run and Landesberg hit a three-pointer to make it 25-14, the visitors suffered the worst as their top scorer Andrew Nicholson was fouled out playing only six minutes for a then team-high 10 points.
Zhejiang led the first quarter 33-29 with 15 from Landesberg, and entered the second half at 66-57. After Guangzhou exploited a 13-4 run to tie 70-70 early in the third quarter, Zhejiang buried three consecutive three-pointers, led 91-86 into the last quarter and kept their rivals at bay.
