Dubai: Trade and Investment Conference held at Dubai Expo here on Saturday. The event was graced by prominent members of the business community, key government representatives of Pakistan.
The participants taking part in the event discussed ways to expand economic networks, explore new markets, and increase the trade volume of the country. They explored Pakistan’s economic advantages, as well as the opportunities it has to offer and prospects for participating in exhibitions abroad in the future.
Ambassador of Pakistan to UAE, Afzaal congratulated the participants and their partners and stressed that the exhibition was an important tool for supporting the economic development of the country and it will assist in further exploring foreign direct investment opportunities in the country.
Mr. Taimoor Saleem Jhagra, Finance Minister KPK lauds the effort of the Pakistani business community for such initiatives for the country’s economic growth and prosperity. Through trade promotion, as well as conducted cooperation in areas spanning e-commerce, industrial collaboration, would robust the contours of economic growth.
Renowned businesswoman and Forbes Award holder, Ms. Amna Munawar highlighted the business community’s decisive role in the economic growth of Pakistan. She also called for measures for improving and boosting the country’s economy by increasing the level of exports and added that it is highly significant to refine the entire process of based corporate governance.
MD RJ Greens, Mr. Babar Qureshi, mentioned that Pakistan provides attractive incentives for investment in all sectors of the economy for foreign and local investors. The traditional, as well as non-traditional sectors of our economy, offer great opportunities to the overseas Pakistani to invest in the country and to have maximum dividends on their investments.
MD Jannat Group Jannat Afridi was of the view that the country offers equal opportunities to foreign and local investors. As an emerging economy, Pakistan offers the opportunity of diversification to global players with the strong intention of structural reforms in various sectors of the economy. Pakistan presents vast investment opportunities with lucrative returns to investors.
