Rawalpindi: Terrorists from inside Afghanistan across the international border opened fire on Pakistani troops in general area Dewagar, North Waziristan District.

However, during fire exchange, Havaldar Taimoor resident of Jhelum, age 30 years, Naik Shoaib resident of Attock, age 38 years and Sepoy Saqib Nawaz resident of Sialkot, age 24 years, having fought gallantly, embraced shahadat.
Pakistan strongly condemns the use of Afghan soil by terrorists for activities against Pakistan and expects that Afghan Government will not allow conduct of such activities, in future.

Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah has strongly condemned the terrorists firing incident on Pakistani security forces from Afghanistan side and expressed sorrow over the martyrdom of security personnel.
In a statement on Saturday, he said that such incidents are unacceptable and immediate steps are needed to be taken to prevent recurrence in future.
Paying rich tribute to the security forces personnel who sacrificed their lives to protect of motherland, he conveyed deep condolences to the bereaved families of martyred Hawaldar Timur, Naik Shoaib and soldier Saqib Nawaz.
Meanwhile, Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mahmood Khan on Saturday strongly denounced a cross border attack in Dewgar area of North Waziristan from Afghanistan in which three security forces embraced martyrdom.
In his message, the Chief Minister expressed heartfelt sympathies and solidarity with the bereaved families and prayed for a high place in heaven for the departed soul. The Chief Minister also prayed for patience to the bereaved families to bear the loss with fortitude.
The Chief Minister said such attacks from across the border were very unfortunate and deplorable. Our security forces have rendered matchless sacrifices for the cause of the nation. The whole nation put the sacrifices of its forces in high esteem. The country stands by its valiant armed forces in war against terror, the Chief Minister said.
