Sadiq Sanjrani Saudi Envoy discuss prospects of cooperation, engagement

ISLAMABAD April — The Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Pakistan, Nawafbin Saeed Al-Maliki, asked Senate President Muhammad Sadiq Sanjrani here in Parliament on Friday.
During the meeting, bilateral relations and issues of mutual interest were discussed in detail, reads a press release.
The chairman of the Upper House said the kingdom’s investment in various sectors of Pakistan was commendable.
He noted that such large investments in the country are a testament to the confidence of the Saudi leadership and investors in Pakistan.
While praising Saudi investment in the country, the chairman said trade, investment and economic ties would help bring the years-long friendly relations between the two countries to new heights.
He emphasized the need to strengthen parliamentary relations between the two fraternal countries through enhanced parliamentary assemblies and high-level interactions.
Sadiq Sanjrani stressed that local prosperity and development through mutual cooperation is a common goal of both countries.
“Pakistan is an important country in the region and the established fraternal relations between the two countries have been even stronger in every difficult time and trial,” the Saudi envoy said.
He said bilateral co-operation between the two countries needed to be further improved in different areas.
