Prime Minister Imran Khan said his recent US visit was a very successful visit of its kind in which he tried to raise the issue of Kashmir and asked President Trump to visit Pakistan which he accepted warmly. As per details, PM Imran convened a meeting of federal cabinet after returning from US. The meeting contemplated on the money spent on foreign tours of former rulers and on the issue of making regulatory departments under cabinet division.
The cabinet approved ending column of occupation from passport form and extension in 8th wage board award. The cabinet also gave its node to the decision made by ECC. The meeting was told that for the first time a Prime Minister was given great respect in US. PM had cleared to US authorities that the purpose of this visit is not to get aid but to change the mindset for Pakistan. Pakistan does not want aid but trade from foreign countries. The cabinet felicitated PM Imran Khan for his successful visit. PM Imran Khan on the occasion said the relations with US would better in future as compared to the past
US President Donald Trump will visit Pakistan soon, Prime Minister Imran Khan told a Cabinet meeting on Thursday, terming his visit to the United States successful. The trip to Washington was successful in its own way, Imran said, adding that Islamabad was victorious in having itself acknowledged on an equal level. Pakistan played its role to the full extent in highlighting the Kashmir issue and that the bilateral relationship would be excellent in the future as opposed to how they were in the past.
The premier took the Cabinet into confidence regarding extending an invitation to Trump to visit Pakistan. During his visit to Washington, Imran apart from Trump met US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, members of the US Congress, and various businesspeople. The PM also addressed the Pakistani-American in Capital One Arena on Sunday where he assured them of changing the system back home to one that runs on merit. You will see Pakistan prosper every year, he told the crowd.
The PM laid out the difference between democracy and monarchy. Democracy has merit. In the world countries which progressed because of meritocracy. Separately, the Cabinet corroborated the decisions made during the July 17 meeting of the Economic Coordination Committee (ECC).

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf has observed Youm-e-Tashakur on Thursday on the first anniversary of 2018 general elections. In a series of tweets on Thursday, Special Assistant on Information and Broadcasting Firdous Ashiq Awan said the aspirations of people and twenty three year old political struggle of Imran Khan bore fruit in the general elections last year.
The Special Assistant said 25th July is the day of expression of public opinion as on this day the people gave a strong support to the mission of purging the country of corruption. Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan said those who used the politics for loot and plunder are being brought to justice. She said the nation has rejected their dynastic politics.

He said Pakistan came into being on 27th of Ramazan and it is the sole country which was established in the name of Islam. The Prime Minister pledged that he will never disappoint the nation. He said that he did not bow to anyone and will not let his people bow down before anyone. Imran Khan said the day is not far when the world will respect the green passport and Pakistan will emerge as a great country of the world.
The Prime Minister expressed the resolve to rebuild the institutions damaged by the former rulers through their corrupt practices. He also expressed resolve to make Pakistani nation a great nation by laying foundation of the country on golden principles of Riasat-e-Madina. He said hospitals will be constructed, provision of clean drinking water will be ensured and employment opportunities will be created in the country.
