ISLAMABAD: Punjab Governor Chaudhry Mohammad Sarwar says Pakistan and Uzbekistan are getting closer with each passing day and relations between the two countries are growing. He was talking to the Governor of Namangan Province of Uzbekistan Shaukat Abdul Razzaq during his visit to Uzbekistan along with a delegation of Pakistan traders. Both sides agreed to further strengthen bilateral relations and formulate a strategy for the exchange of business community delegations of Namangan and Punjab provinces for the promotion of investment. Chaudhry Mohammad Sarwar invited the Uzbek businessmen to invest in Pakistan. Governor Punjab also laid the foundation stone of the first Medical University in the Namangan province of Uzbekistan.
