PUC to observe Ashra-e-Tazeem-e-Harmain Al-Sharifain, Al-Aqsa in last ten days of Ramazan
Police to deploy additional strength for smooth traffic flow during 3rd Ashra of Ramazan
ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Ulema Council (PUC) and International Tazeem-e-Harmain Al Sharifain Council would observe “Ashra-e-Tazeem-e-Harmain Al-Sharifain, Al-Aqsa” across the country in last 10 days of Ramazan said Hafiz Muhammad Tahir Mahmood Ashrafi, Chairman Pakistan Ulema Council.
Talking to media, he said seminars, religious congregations and conferences would be held all over the country highlighting the dignity and greatness of Harmain Al-Sharifain and Masajid-Al-Aqsa.
Ashrafi said that with the arrival of Ramazan, a series of atrocities against the oppressed Kashmiris and Palestinians begins, Masajid-Al-Aqsa was being desecrated, said Tahir Ashrafi adding that Israel is trying to seize Masajid-Al-Aqsa under a planning.
PUC chairman demanded of Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), United Nations (UN) and the Islamic world to take the responsibility by making immediate action in this regard.
Masajid-Al-Aqsa were centers of Muslims’ unity and they can sacrifice everything for the respect, stability and protection of their sacred places. Anti-Islamic forces aims at playing havoc with the peace and stability of the Harmain Al-Sharifain. Likewise, Islamabad Traffic Police (ITP) has decided to deploy additional police personnel in the federal capital to keep the flow of traffic normal during the 3rd Ashra of holy month of Ramazan. SSP (Traffic) Rai Mazhar Iqbal chaired a special meeting at traffic police headquarter on Sunday to look into the issue. The meeting was also attended by all Zonal DSPs and other traffic police officials. During the meeting, it was decided that in 3rd Ashra of Ramazan, additional police personnel would be deployed around shopping malls, markets, restaurants and business outlets.
