PEIRA will design joint programs with RISC to improve the quality of education, Chairperson PEIRA

Islamabad: Roots International Schools and colleges (RISC) has signed MOU with ICT – Private Education Institutions Regulatory Authority for strategic collaboration, Islamabad. The memorandum of understanding was signed by the heads of both the organizations at the headquarter of ICT- PEIRA in a small graceful ceremony.

The purpose of this MoU is to establish educational cooperation between Roosts International Schools and Colleges (RISC) and Islamabad Capital Territory – Private Educational Institutions Regulatory Authority. This MoU covers the principles and procedures for promotion of curricular activities in the private education sector in ICT, arranging workshops for capacity building of teachers in private educational institutions and carrying out exchange visits of students and academic professionals between RISC and ICT – PEIRA for sharing of knowledge and learning resources.

Ms. Zia batool, chairperson of ICT-PEIRA thanked the CEO RISC Mr. Walid Mushtaq for his special interest in partnering with PEIRA. She assured that the Authority shall extend its full support and cooperation to RISC in the registration of new campuses in Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT), keeping in view fulfillment of statutory requirements. She said the authority will design joint programs/sessions with RISC to improve the quality of education in ICT.

CEO RISC, Mr. Walid Mushtaq thanked chairperson PEIRA for partnering with RISC. He said RISC will endeavor to favor collaborative research projects (of groups of faculty/individual/students) in academic-related programs for sharing of best practices and promote mutual learning for improvement of quality standards in private education in ICT, including participation in jointly organized education-related conferences/ seminars/ workshops. He said RISC will assist PEIRA in designing and executing training programs/ workshops/ Seminars, webinars, academic talks, and designation of resource persons, and extension of any other possible assistance for the capacity building of academic and management professionals associated with the private education in Islamabad Capital territory.
