Pakistan’s political, military leadership is vigilant and clear vis-à-vis national security and stability: FO

Negotiated settlement of the Kashmir dispute is imperative for regional peace

India’s policies are not based on reality as it is demonstrating irresponsible and childish behavior while threatening Pakistan. Pakistan’s armed forces are capable enough to give a befitting response to India’s belligerence attitude and aggression along the Line of Control. India’s war hysteria is posing a serious threat to regional peace and stability. The BJP is a Hindu extremist party, which wants to dominate all other minorities living in India. The international community should take notice of massive human rights violations committed by Indian troops in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir. Modi has just promoted jingoism and hyper-nationalism in India. Pakistan’s national policy is very balanced, economic centric and peaceful. Pakistan’s political and military leadership is vigilant and clear enough as far as national security and stability are concerned.

Negotiated settlement of the Kashmir dispute is imperative for regional peace. Kashmir is a disputed issue and not an internal matter of India. Kashmir is the Jugular vein of Pakistan and the hearts of all Pakistanis beat with the Kashmiris brethren.  Kashmir issue should be resolved in line with the wishes and aspirations of the people of Kashmir and the United Nations’ Security Council’s resolutions. The recent resolution passed by the OIC on Kashmir has vindicated Pakistan’s stance at the global level. India cannot succeed in its efforts to suppress Kashmir’s freedom struggle through the use of brute force. India is talking about the resolution of the Kashmir issue peacefully on one hand, but committing the worst atrocities in Occupied Kashmir on the other hand.

Pakistan is a peace-loving nation and wants to promote peaceful relations with all neighboring countries.  India is habitual of leveling baseless allegations against Pakistan. Indian spy Kulbhushan Jhadav has admitted his involvement in destabilizing Pakistan through nefarious activities. In line with the International Court of Justice (ICJ) judgement, Pakistan has already provided consular access to the Indian High Commission twice and has taken all necessary steps for effective review and reconsideration in the Kulbhushan case. Both Pakistan and India should reduce tensions, and engage in a dialogue and pursue solutions in  accordance withthe United Nations Charter and Security Council resolutions. Pakistan has strong pieces of evidence of Indian involvement in internal affairs of Pakistan and promoting terrorism in the country. However, it is a diplomatic success of Pakistan that despite strong Indian lobby, Islamabad managed to pass two resolutions in the OIC Foreign Minister meeting regarding Islamophobia and Kashmir dispute. Now, Pakistan should approach to five permanent and 10 non-permanent members of UNSC in order to expose Indian policies towards Pakistan, its atrocities and human rights violation in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir and using Afghan soil for its nefarious designs against Pakistan. Pakistan has played a vital role in bringing Afghan Taliban on negotiation table with US officials and now playing important role as well for the success of intra-Afghan dialogues. There is need to make the world realize that peaceful and stable Afghanistan is in the best national interests of Pakistan and it is India that playing the role of peace spoiler in war-torn country.
