Overall situation According to details released by National Locust Control Center, joint teams of Agriculture Department, Food Security and Pakistan Army are conducting comprehensive survey and control operations against locusts in different districts of the country. 1028 joint teams in affected areas of 32 districts are conducting this campaign. I am participating.
So far, an area of ​​700504 square kilometers (approximately 9.89 crore acres) has been surveyed and a control operation has been carried out on 51.10545 square kilometers (approximately 6.26 lakh acres). More than 5,336 people and 676 vehicles took part in the survey and control operation.

  • In Punjab province in the last 24 hours 250735 acres were surveyed. 2554 people (including Pakistan Army) and 349 vehicles took part in the survey. So far, 95.2 crore acres have been surveyed and operations have been carried out on 1131347 acres across the province.

In the last 24 hours, 100414 acres were surveyed in Sindh province and operation was carried out in 2634 acres in 6 districts (Dadu, Shaheed Benazirabad, Nowshero Feroze, Tharparkar, Sukkur and Khairpur). 627 people (including Pakistan Army) and 102 vehicles took part in the survey and control operation. So far, surveys have been conducted on 052 million acres and operations have been carried out on 168674 acres across the province.
خیبر In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province 182507 acres were surveyed in last 24 hours. The survey involved 847 people (including Pakistan Army) and 106 vehicles. So far 53.1 million acres have been surveyed and 154527 acres have been operated across the province.
بلوچستان Survey on 216976 acres in the last 24 hours in Balochistan Province and 26 districts (Khuzdar, Awaran, Noshki, Chaghi, Othal, Ketch, Panjgur, Kharan, Washik, Quetta, Dera Bugti, Harnai, Jhal Magsi, Kalat, Qila Abdullah, Qala) In Saifullah, Kohlu, Loralai, Mastung, Musa Khel, Naseerabad, Pishin, Sibi, Surab, Jaffarabad and Ziarat) operation was carried out on 2150 acres in the presence of locusts. 1308 people (including Pakistan Army) and 119 vehicles took part in the operation. So far, a survey has been carried out on 36.3 million acres and operations have been carried out on 1151303 acres across the province.
