National Media Network conducts interactive workshop, themed- “Engaged Employees are Happier” for the employees of PTVC

Islamabad- One-day interactive workshop led by Mirza Masood Baig, Head, PTV World, held in collaboration with National Media Network for the employees of PTV.

CHRO M Tahir Mushtaq really stressed upon the value of each individual within the organization and highlighted the simple fact that when a person is engaged, everything they do is infused with purpose, energy, and enthusiasm. He also underlined that MD PTV Aamer Manzoor has been quite supportive of such training workshops and more training courses have been planned under public-private local and international partnerships.

We need to understand the value of a highly engaged workforce. The importance of employee engagement can’t be overstated – employee engagement strategies have been proven to reduce staff turnover, improve productivity and efficiency. Engaged employees are the ones who have a well-established work ethic and commitment to the company’s goals – the whole environment contributes to bringing every employee on the track to achieving excellence.

Addressing the award ceremony, the chairperson of National Media Network, Amna Malik extended her felicitations to all the participants of the workshop. Furthermore, she remarked that such events are vital for skill enhancement and they offer employees an opportunity to blend perfectly into their upcoming or current role. She also called for special initiatives to the uplift media sector, aligned with exigencies of international standards.

The event concluded with the distribution of certificates among the participants of the workshop.
