NACTA organizes Wall Painting Activity on theme ‘Peace and Tolerance’


Islamabad: NACTA organized a week-long Wall Painting Activity for students and youth. The activity attracted a large number of students from colleges and universities of the capital including students from IMCG, NUST, Bahria University, Pakistan Institute of Development Economics, and International Islamic University to participate in this amazing activity and spread the message of peace and tolerance. Participating students painted slogans and murals on the theme of Peace and Tolerance.

The concluding ceremony of the activity was organized at Islamabad Model College for Girls F-10/2. TV artist, Tousiq Haider was the Chief Guest while Member (Policy) and senior officers of NACTA attended the event. A large number of teachers and students of the college were present on the occasion.

In her opening remarks, Ms. Sabah Faisal, Principal of IMCG F-10/2 said that great enthusiasm was noticed among students when NACTA engaged them in a wall painting activity. Mr. Tauseeq Haider also shared his views, noting that the message of peace and tolerance was delivered to the general public in an unusual manner. There is a need to engage youth in creating awareness about extremism in the country. The Chief Guest distributed certificates among the participating students to acknowledge their participation in the activity.
