The President said Pakistan will continue to provide diplomatic, political and legal support to the Kashmiris in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir till they achieve their goal of freedom. He said that day is not far Insha’Allah. We shall see.

He said the spirit of the 22 martyrs of 13 July, 1931 has been kept alive by their descendants who demand self-determination as guaranteed by the international community. He said struggle for freedom continues by the brave.

While on the other hand, chairman Parliamentary Committee on Kashmir Shehryar Afridi says Indian regime of Hindutva is targeting humanity in the Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

In a tweet, on the occasion of Kashmir Martyrs Day today (Tuesday), he said Kashmiris stay defiant, despite rendering over one hundred thousand sacrifices of precious human lives.

He said, today is the day when faith won over bullets and 22 Kashmiri Muslims said Azaan and sacrificed their lives one after the other in a show of defiance against occupant Dogra rule.

Shehryar Afridi said martyrs’ families are not allowed to offer Fateha at graveyard and all roads leading to graveyard have been sealed.

He said Indian police have forced shopkeepers to open market in Lalchowk Srinagar or get booked under PSA.

Kashmiris on both sides of the Line of Control and world over are observing Kashmir Martyrs Day today to pay homage to martyrs of July 13, 1931.

All Parties Hurriyat Conference has appealed the Kashmiri people to mark the day by a complete shutdown in the in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

It is pertinent to mention that on 13th July 1931, the troops of Dogra Maharaja had killed 22 Kashmiris, one after the other, outside the Central Jail in Srinagar during the court proceedings against one Abdul Qadeer who had asked the Kashmiri people to defy the Dogra Rule. Thus, 22 youth sacrificed their lives till the completion of Azaan.

A march towards the Martyrs’ Graveyard at Naqashband Sahib in Srinagar will also be held today where the martyrs of 13th July were buried.

In a statement in Srinagar, APHC spokesman said that the objective of the shutdown and the march is to convey to the world that the Kashmiris will never accept Indian subjugation.

India has waged a hybrid war against Pakistan to defame it and the Kashmiris’ freedom struggle by using media, cyber technology and terrorism tools.

A report released by Kashmir Media Service said India is striving to equate Kashmir freedom struggle with terrorism through false flag operations and concerted propaganda.

The report said India is planning false flag operations to malign Pakistan at the international level.
