Foreign elements incite tribal youth against state: PM Imran
Prime Minister Imran Khan on Thursday expressed condolence over the death of three soldiers of the Pakistan Army in an attack from across the Pak-Aghan border in the Alwara Mandai area of North Waziristan. My condolences & prayers go to the families of our 3 soldiers martyred while repulsing condemnable terrorist attack in Alwara area of N Waziristan, the prime minister tweeted. We salute the bravery & sacrifices of our soldiers in combating terrorists. 60-70 terrorists had carried out an attack on a team of the Pakistan Army soldiers busy in border fencing near Alora spot in the North Waziristan on Wednesday.
While initiating his address to the groundbreaking ceremony of Mohmand Dam Prime Minister Imran Khan on said that the provision of National Reconciliation Ordinance (NRO) to the corrupt elements will be tantamount to committing treason. PM Khan said that such elements were actually seeking another National Reconciliation Ordinance (NRO). He clarified, I am saying this again that I will commit treason with my nation if I provide them NRO. The premier said that he would not provide any relaxation to the corrupt elements at any cost.
PM Khan, while initiating his address to the groundbreaking ceremony of Mohmand Dam, expressed thanks to the former chief justice of Pakistan Justice (retd.) Mian Saqib Nisar. He said, I’m grateful to ex- CJP Saqib Nisar for his struggle to construct dam. He also praised Pakistan army forces for playing a vital role to eliminate terrorism from the tribal belt.
