Islamabad: Foreign minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi holds a technophobic conversation with the Foreign minister of Iran, ahead of the 48th Council of Foreign Ministers hosted by Pakistan in March 2022. Pakistan looks forward to welcoming you H.E Foreign Minister Abdollahian. Pakistan is going to host the upcoming 48th session of the OIC-CFMs from 22nd to 24th March in Islamabad. The main objective of this moot is to promote unity among Muslims on this occasion and address other issues, particularly Islamophobia and hate speech. The proposed theme of the 48th Session, “Partnering for Unity, Justice, and Development” fully encapsulates these priorities. Under this theme, Pakistan will seek to build ‘partnerships’ across the Islamic world, and build bridges of cooperation to address the myriad of challenges confronting the Ummah. Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi said, at the platform of the upcoming 48th meeting of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) in Islamabad, Pakistan would act as a bridge to promote unity among the Muslim countries and contribute towards finding a way together on common issues facing the Islamic world.
