PM performs groundbreaking of Gwadar airport
Prime Minister Imran Khan on Thursday said the federal government would fulfill the promises made to the people of Karachi. The ongoing projects from the federation in Karachi will be completed on time, PM Imran Khan said while talking to a delegation of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement- Pakistan (MQM-P) here at the Governor House. Sindh Governor Imran Ismail was also present on this occasion.
He said soon a meeting of the MQM-P and the coordination committee would be convened. The premier said a housing scheme would soon be launched in Karachi as well. The centre will continue full cooperation for resolution of issues of the metropolis. All the political parties will have to make conducive environment for economic development and investment, he said adding that staging of the Pakistan Super League matches was a sign that Karachi was on the course of peace and progress.
Earlier, Prime Minister Imran Khan reiterated his resolve for development of Balochistan and said it’s prime responsibility of the state to provide protection, health, education and other basic facilities to its citizens. We are trying to establish more centres for training in Balochistan.
In this regard, ISPR stated, PM did ground breaking of Pakistan Army and Govt of Balochistan joint venture mega projects including state of the art Cardiac Centre and Quetta – Zhob Road (N-50 ) Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa and Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Jam Kamal accompanied PM during ground breaking ceremony.
