Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa has advised troops to stay focused in their professional pursuits as professional excellence and extensive training ensure effective response against all challenges.Interacting with the troops during his visit to Lahore Corps today (Monday), he also urged the troops to keep abreast with changing nature of threat to meet any kind of challenges.

The Army Chief was briefed about operational preparedness of the formation, interacted with troops carrying out maintenance of defences and also witnessed small arms firing.He appreciated troops for their professionalism and high training standards.

Corps Commander Lieutenant General Muhammad Abdul Aziz accompanied General Bajwa during the visit.   

  Earlier,  ISPR reported that Pakistan Rangers Punjab in coordination with Punjab Police and Civil Administration,
undertaking a joint venture to reach out to the residents of the remote areas of Kacha in District Rajanpur for provision of basic social services since last one week
During the campaign, free medical camps have been organized in which around 500 patients have been given free medical treatment / medicines till todate.
Over 800 ration bags ( containing flour, pulses, rice, sugar and tea) around 1000 gift hampers for children and 30 sewing machines have been distributed amongst needy women.
