Army had absolutely nothing to do with today’s NA proceedings: DG ISPR

RAWALPINDI: The Pakistan Army was “absolutely not” a part of what happened today in the National Assembly, Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Director General Major General Babar Iftikhar said on Sunday while speaking to a private TV channel.

The DG ISPR’s remarks came in response to a question about whether the Pakistan Army was aware of what happened during the National Assembly session called in today to vote on the no-confidence motion against Prime Minister Imran Khan.

“The army has nothing to do with what happened in the NA today,” Maj Gen Babar Iftikhar said.
