Acting Speaker NA extends condolences on the death of the President of the UAE

ISLAMABAD: Acting Speaker National Assembly Zahid Akram Durrani on visited the Embassy of the United Arab Emirates. He called on the Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to Pakistan, Hamad Obaid Ibrahim Al-Zubai and he offered deepest condolences on the death of the late President of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
The Acting Speaker said that Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan was a sincere friend of Pakistan and under his leadership the United Arab Emirates had made historic investments in Pakistan. He said that the parliament and people of Pakistan share the grief of the people of UAE and the of royal family. He prayed to Allah Almighty for granting highest place in Jannat to late President of the United Arab Emirates. He also paid tribute to the services of Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan for the development of UAE and for strengthening of Pak-UAE friendship. He resolved that the friendship and lasting cooperation between Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates would continue.
