Three Pakistani soldiers were martyred as the “Indian Army increases firing along LOC”, the director-general of Pakistan Army’s military wing, Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), said Thursday.

“3 Pakistani soldiers embraced shahadat. Pakistan Army responded effectively,” Maj Gen Ghafoor added. In retaliatory gunfire, Pakistan Army killed five Indian soldiers, injured many, and damaged bunkers across the Line of Control (LoC). “5 Indian soldiers killed, many injured, bunkers damaged. Intermittent exchange of fire continues,” the DG ISPR wrote.
Director General (DG) Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Major General Asif Ghafoor has blackened DPs of his official and personal twitter account to mark August 15, the Indian independence day, as Black Day. Pakistan is observing 15 August 2019 as #BlackDay to awaken world conscience about India’s atrocities in Occupied Jammu & Kashmir (IOJ&K) since 1947. On 5 August 2019, India disregarding legal & moral ethics has turned IOJ&K into a jail.

Black Day is being observed today across Pakistan and on both sides of the Line of Control (LoC) in protest against illegal Indian action to change the disputed status of Indian Occupied Jammu & Kashmir.
